Raipur, March 11, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai met spiritual guru and The Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at the CM residence today. During the meeting, the Chief Minister sought blessings for the prosperity, happiness, and well-being of the people of Chhattisgarh.

To honor Chhattisgarh’s cultural heritage, CM Sai presented Sri Sri Ravi Shankar with a photograph of the world’s largest natural Shivling, Madheshwar Pahad, located in Jashpur, along with a replica of Nandi crafted in the Bastar Art style.
Ancient Somnath Temple’s Broken Shivling Arrives in Chhattisgarh
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar shared that he has brought with him the remains of a 1,000-year-old broken Shivling from the Somnath Temple. This sacred artifact had been carefully preserved for centuries by an Agnihotri family. Now, it is being taken across the country for devotees to witness and pay their respects. On this occasion, CM Sai and other dignitaries offered their prayers and expressed their reverence for the historic Shivling.
Discussion on MoU for Rural Development and Livelihood Generation

During the meeting, CM Sai and Sri Sri Ravi Shankar discussed the implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Chhattisgarh government and Vyakti Vikas Kendra India (The Art of Living). The agreement aims to promote livelihood generation, holistic rural development, and the overall well-being of the people in Chhattisgarh. Both sides deliberated on its effective implementation.
Invitation to Shankhnaad Mahasatsang
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar invited CM Sai to participate in the Shankhnaad Mahasatsang, scheduled to be held at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur. CM Sai expressed his gratitude and accepted the invitation.
